Fasoli Gino - A Legacy Rooted in Verona

Since 1925, Fasoli Gino has crafted wines in the heart of the Verona region, blending tradition with innovation. Now in its fourth generation, the family estate is a pioneer in organic and biodynamic farming, producing expressive wines that honor the land and its people.

Doing the Right Thing Right - Biodynamic farming

Fasoli Gino has embraced organic farming since 1984, and biodynamics since 2006. Inspired by their father’s health and guided by Steiner philosophy, the Fasoli family farms with deep respect for nature - nurturing healthy soils, rare chickens for pest control, and solar-powered operations for a cleaner future.

Biodynamic - Organic & Vegan

This is wine with principles. Amadio and Natalino Fasoli started organic viticulture in the 1980s due to a shared belief that the land deserves respect. Their refusal to use chemical products demonstrates a profound commitment to protect not only their terroir, but the health of the people who live and work on it.

Grapes, Styles & Experiments

Fasoli Gino works with local and international varietals - Corvina, Garganega, Glera, Pinot Grigio, and Merlot - creating everything from Valpolicella to Prosecco. They champion lesser-known styles too, like no-sulphur Amarone-style Merlot and Corvina rosé sparkling made metodo classico.

Terroir of the Illasi Valley

Located just east of Verona in the picturesque Illasi Valley, the estate draws from 20 hectares of vines and 100 more via close partnerships. Here, biodiversity flourishes among pergola-trained vines, green cover crops, and hand-tended rows - creating wines of clarity, structure, and place.

Amarone’s Elegant Power

Their flagship wine, Alteo, is an Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG made from dried Corvina grapes. It’s rich, intense, and full of soul - silky on the palate, with notes of dried cherries, dark chocolate, and spice. Alteo is a symbol of the region’s heritage and Fasoli Gino’s mastery.

Alteo Amarone: The Crown Jewel

Powerful yet poised, Alteo shows Amarone’s full potential. Dried grapes, 48 months of careful aging, and biodynamic finesse result in a structured, elegant wine with no excess heat- just layers of fruit, minerality, and restrained oak. A velvet glove wrapped around a rich, expressive core.
