The soil of ancient origin provides an excellent environment for the production of austere wines, but particularly refined and elegant with floral and fruity notes. After the traditional long aging (18 months in 55Hl oak barrels) the wine is supple and fragrant, offering an intriguing ripeness on the palate and dryness in the finish.
