Torre di Terzolan | Valpolicella Superiore DOC 2019
★★★★★
Rated 4.3 on Vivino
Rich yet refined, Torre di Terzolan Valpolicella Superiore 2019 is a soulful expression of Veneto’s noble red tradition, born in a tiny, historic estate just outside Verona. The winery produces only three wines and around 13,000 bottles a year, all from organically managed vineyards farmed and bottled entirely on site.
Made from native grapes grown across four small vineyards, the fruit is hand-picked, carefully selected and vinified in a cellar dating back to the 1400s - a place built for patience and quiet precision.
Expect bright red cherries, wild berries and gentle spice, layered with subtle earthy notes and wrapped in supple tannins. Balanced, warm and deeply food-friendly, this is Valpolicella with elegance, depth and a strong sense of place.
While the 2019 vintage was farmed using organic and biodynamic practices, official certification begins with the 2020 vintage onwards - a long-held philosophy finally made official.
